Celebrating Emerging Talent: Autocar Driver of Change for 2025

We are delighted to share that Harry Muir, one of our talented Graduate Apprentices, has been recognised as an Autocar Driver of Change for 2025 which is a prestigious award presented in association with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The Drivers of Change awards celebrate individuals who are shaping the future of the automotive industry through innovation, creativity, and commitment.

Harry’s recognition is a testament not only to his personal achievements but also to the strength of our Graduate Apprenticeship Programme, launched in 2019 to nurture the next generation of leaders in sustainable manufacturing.

Since joining us less than a year ago, Harry has demonstrated exceptional commitment and creativity which are qualities that reflect the ethos of our business and the wider Scottish Leather Group.

His contributions have already made a positive impact, supporting efficiency improvements while balancing his university studies with hands-on experience in our operations.

Mark Cowan, HR Director at Scottish Leather Group, commented:

“We are absolutely delighted that Harry has been recognised as a Driver of Change by Autocar. He’s already having a positive impact through his contributions, engaging confidently with experienced colleagues whilst supporting efforts to improve efficiencies, all while continuing his university studies. He’s a real asset to Scottish Leather Group and someone who can go very far within our company.”

We’re thrilled to see Harry’s hard work recognised and proud to celebrate the bright future of emerging talent helping to drive our industry forward.
